Standard panel sizes are 4×8, 4×9, and 4×10 feet. For cedar roof restoration, buy siding at least ^8-inch thick for plain panels, or 1/2-inch thick if patterned or grooved. When re-siding over an irregular surface, such as clapboards, use panels that are 1/2 inch or 1 inch thick.
INSTALLING THE PANELS
Locate the wall studs first. To find studs, 1 for edges and nails in the old siding. If the siding has been removed, you may be able to see nail holes in the sheathing. An electronic stud finder works well, too. Snap a vertical chalk line down the center of each stud. Panel siding is awkward and requires a lot of nailing, so get help. One person can hold a panel in place while the other nails it.

Solo Roth 401k Contributions

Making Donations Online
I was recently diagnosed with breast cancer at the age of 31. It’s devastating. It puts me in a whole new world of information and things that I would never want in my life; nor would anyone else for that matter. But it also brings up some issues for me in terms of fundraising.

Paradise in My Office
I work in central London, and if you work there too you will know what I am talking about when I say, there is really not much to see that pleases the eye, when it comes to settings concerning paradise. I switch my computer on as I enter my office, and usually find that I am flooded with e-mails on a daily basis. Thank heavens for weekends. Needless to say, my mind can easily be appeased when it comes to looking at pictures that remind me of places I love. The first thing I see on my computer when I switch it on is a bald eagle swooping down to catch a salmon from a river in Alaska. Why I am drawn to cold places when I already live in London, I will never know. I am thankful for the efforts that creative people put into making backgrounds for desktops. I would like to try and make my own background one day, by actually taking my own picture of a bald eagle in Alaska.
Results of Online Training Survey
We surveyed small and medium-sized businesses and organizations in a variety of industries about their use of online events. To qualify, these small and medium-sized businesses had to have a maximum of 500 employees and be conducting online training events or in person training events of some kind.
This survey was launched and completed in the final quarter of 2010. The survey population consisted of 68 participants, of whom about a third are actively using online events and four fifths are using in-person training seminars or executive breakfasts focused on training. This represents a significant experience base for online events.
Survey participants came from a diversity of industries and three in four were from North America, with an average organization size of 131 employees.
The key findings from this survey include:
Finding 1. The popularity of online training is growing among smaller organizations. For example, use of training online by smaller organizations is expected to increase by a third in 2011.
Finding 2. Traditional in person training events will continue to be a strong part of programs for smaller businesses in 2011.
Finding 3. Smaller organizations get a much greater bang for the buck with online events.While organizations put the nearly the same amount of effort intopromoting and delivering quality content for both in-person and online events, onlinetraining simply reaches more attendees and costs less per attendee. The typicalorganization averages nearly seven times more attendees for online training versustraining seminar. And, the cost per attendee is eight times more for an in persontraining.Regardless of the type of event, social media use for promotion and engagement ison the rise.
These findings show that online training has a growing future within the training market as a whole and needs to be seriously considered by all those who allocate training resources.
This survey will be followed up using a standardised training evaluation questionnaire provided by TrainingCheck.com.

Doing a Job Application
I had to come up with a business administration job description that we could use in an email to our company about open jobs that we had. It was important to the company that the business administration job description that I came up with perfectly described the job and what was needed of the person who took the job. We didn’t want to get people who were not qualified and had to turn them down for that reason alone. So when I started to work on the business administration job description, I made sure to clearly state that anyone who applied to make sure that they met all the criteria and requirements before submitting an application, or else they would not get an appointment for an interview. I really hope we only get good applications because I don’t want my boss looking down for me on my work of the business administration job description.
